Magellan launch the new eXplorist range of GPS devices (Thursday, June 30, 2011)

Magellan are back in the UK with a brand new range of GPS devices designed for outdoor navigation.

The Magellan eXplorist range consists of four purpose built handheld GPS devices.

The eXplorist 510 provides unparalleled outdoor navigation. Create waypoints, record tracks and route from point to point. Download up to 10'000 paperless geocache GPX files. Review your trip statistics with more than 30 navigational fields.

Combined use of the track log and multimedia functions allows you to create complete geographic and multimedia record of each outdoor adventure. You can review your adventure on the device, on your computer, or share with others on your favourite social network.

Includes World Edition preloaded map, detailed road network, land areas, transportation points and water features of more than 200 countries.

New Silva Field Compass (Thursday, June 9, 2011)
